We specialise in the manufacture of traditional sash windows, casement windows and doors for heritage buildings. Whether the original windows are missing, damaged beyond repair or have been replaced with poor quality alternatives, we can work with you, your architect or your builder to design and fit the perfect windows or doors for your property.
The design and beauty of traditional joinery comes down to elegant proportions and meticulous attention to detail. By using traditional time-honoured joinery techniques combined with the best of today's draft-proofing and double-glazing technologies, we can produce a product that matches perfectly with your original design while providing comfort and thermal performance.
We can refurbish and upgrade existing joinery to extend its life, appearance and performance. Where joinery is beyond refurbishment we can manufacture meticulously detailed replacements to maintain the architectural integrity and appearance of your building.
When refurbishing windows we fully strip back the existing woodwork and repair or replace any rotted or damaged timber with sound material. Glass can be retained and reputtied where necessary, or upgraded using Slim Glaze double-glazing system. The sashes are re-balanced and fitted with subtle draft-proofing.
We offer a design and build service for both traditional and contemporary custom joinery.
